Logan Cabernet Merlot

Cabernet Merlot blends excel when grown in cool areas as they can produce distinct varietal characters and complexity, while remaining elegant. The high altitude and cold, sunny growing conditions of Orange create plush fruit flavours, complemented by savoury complexity and wonderful structure and length. The Logan Cabernet Merlot is a heady blend of dark broodiness, bright berry fruits and fresh, savoury herbal notes. It is a balanced wine, deep and powerful yet still perfumed and elegant. The layers of complexity build, revealing themselves slowly.

The Logan Cabernet Merlot is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (47%) which provides the structure as well as the mixed berries and dried herb (rosemary, thyme, tobacco) characters, Merlot (45%) contributing dark chocolate, black olive and violet, and Cabernet Franc (8%) to lift the aroma and add a little extra complexity through florals, spice and raspberry fruit.
